About TAP Insulation
TAP is an insulation/insecticide with a high R value and boric acid, a known insecticide.
TAP is registered by the EPA as a pesticide with insulation as a secondary benefit.
TAP is Safe around Humans and Pets
The active ingredient in TAP is pure boric acid. Boric acid is in many of the product you
use today. Silly putty, laundry detergent, foods, and some cosmetics contain boric acid. But while boric acid
is safe for use around people and pets, thats not the case with self grooming and/or social insects. TAP can
help control cockroaches, ants, and termites.
TAP is Environmentally friendly
TAP is made of 85% to 87% recycled material that would otherwise be in a landfill. The
high R-Value means a substantial enery savings and TAP is also energy star certified.
